linux server help

    Hey guys. I just got a new linux server running centos 6.2. I need help getting it ready to send bulk mail. My mailer is a php data mailer. Could someone take me through the steps of doing this correctly please?

    Any specific control panel installed on the server OR any software installed to send these bulk emails ?

    my mailer is a php mailer. I don't want to use cpanel but it is pre installed on the server. I guess I have to somehow install YUM. I want to be able to mail using putty.
