Linux expert to manage my dedicated server

    I will change from managed dedicated to unmanaged but will need some assistance in things i cannot do myself. All DNS set up has to be 100% good working, and an app to prevent symlink attacks has to be installed for example on the new server.

    Are you really sure that you need a guy who can help you? It would be much better if your current host do all what you need for one time payment. And if you have any issue they can help you, not free of course, but a freelancer wouldn't free for you too.
