I read posts on here about Linkvana....

It was supposed to give good quality [PR2 - PR5] links....

    It wasnt hype....it really worked...

    so on , so on.

So I joined it....and its not cheap.
After submitting quite a few posts, in line with their guidelines, and waiting about a month, the results are totally useless.

I checked where my posts were being posted...[they dont make it public where your posts are being placed, so you have to dig for backlinks yourself]
and the only places I found a couple were on sites with hundreds of non descript similar posts on directory sites...and guess what..ZERO PR.

I emailed them, explaining my concerns, and asking why I should carry on paying big dollars each month for this......and so far...no reply has been forthcoming. [2 weeks since I emailed them]

What I do know, is that they pay very handsome affiliate fees....and that the posters on here who have been bigging it up are all affiliates...

    hmmmmm....

    caveat emptor I suppose.

Wow, you waited a whole month before trashing it. There is no SEO strategy that can work under this time frame. You should have given it more time...

You expecting results from "quite a few" posts and only a "month"? I don't think so. I use Linkvana and do 40-60 posts a day across a number of sites. I very careful which keyword phrases I target. I have been happily paying them for over a year now.

I not an affiliate with them, so have no link to them to promote. But, yes if you do a google search for more information on Linkvana (or any other link scheme), then most of the reviews have affiliate links in them. Who's fault is it if you believe positive reviews that have affiliate links embedded in them?

With any linking plan, you have to be strategic. Linkvana or any other linking you do will not work if your competitors are actively link building.Who's fault is that? Linkvana's?
They will not work if you target a competitive keyword. Who's fault is that? Linkvana's?
    etc etc
