LinkUnit useful, smart pricing effect? 10% rev Should I remove it?

I have a link unit, the CPC for that is only about 10% of AdUnit, and 10% of overall revenue. Does link unit cont towards the smart pricing? People could exit before the 2nd click. Should I remove it? I did see many sites have it, but not sure I should keep it. My CPC is around .30 while link unit click is .03 Thanks!

I believe they do. I just removed one unit to see how it goes on my site.

You get smart priced when you have to many units on your page. Basically Google assumes your website isn't of much value because it's littered with AD's. If you only keep your highest paying AD's you will notice over time that the amount of money you make per click will go up.

I always remove low paying AD's units and it's always worked out for the better.
