Just got this in email

the second largest portal in Japan, has acquired LinkShare. Rakuten is
the number one portal in Japan for shopping, on-line finance and travel.
Think of Rakuten as a Japanese combination of MSN and Yahoo, combined

Yeah I just got the email from them too. Interesting news.. Not sure it is going to change much... Unless maybe I can now get an affiliate program for sushi vending machines.

The email was kind of confusing. I was trying to figure out if the new company is going to keep the program as is or if they were preparing everyone for massive changes.

It doesn't matter to me, because I've never made a dime with them.
