Hi, I tried the new tool from SEOmoz http://www.seomoz.org/linkscape I looks like a very good tool but i can operate it. I check my website links and got the data (124 links) but i didnt know how to watch the link list. Is this option is for paying member only ? Thanks.
I'm sorry about that, gang. It's our fault for crafting an advanced tool but not making it more accessible and easy to understand (we're working on a lot of that now). You might want to check out these posts/resources on how and where to use it (and how we find it valuable): - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/using-seomoz-linkscape-to-troll-for-terrific-link-prospects - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/10-ways-ive-been-using-linkscape-to-help-our-seo-projects - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/linkscape-education-series-learn-the-ins-amp-outs-of-how-linkscape-works Hope those help, and let us know if you've got any specific questions
Thanks for the articles, Must i be Pro member to be able to use these tools. What i was basically looking for was a better tool than http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com When i saw your presentation, that exactly what you said. I run linkscape on my website domain and got the information (124 links) can i see the links if i am not a pro members Thanks.
Vben - you can see some rough data from our index; things like: - mozRank - Domain mozRank - # of links - # of domains with links Our link counts are also only counting followed links, so the numbers will not reflect most blog comments, social media links, etc. And yes - To see the specific list of links and the metrics about them, you'd need to be a PRO member.
Why doesn't linkscpe count 1. blog comments 2. social media links at least some of them are do follow ?
