    How come I only have 18 backlinks showing in google but within yahoo I have 370 and MSN 465 ????? Any advice?

    Google never shows all of your back links.

    For Google puts on hold new links to your website for certain period till Google thinks these are genuine and have become mature links and then starts to show up as back links.

    In any case Google never shows all your links.

    Why is there such a large difference though between the search engines...?
    I have 22 links in google and it only shows 8, could this be because of a similar meta keyword and description data...?

    No, I don't happen to agree with this

    Links are more of a cross section and the age plays no part in whether they are displayed or not. I wouldn't try to analyze them as they have no meaning
