Links to sub websites in a network bad for seo ?

    I have a customer with 35 sites about gift suggestions.

    The customer would like on any website (so all 35) a dropdown box with all 35
    websites so that visitors can easily see which sites are more.

    I do not know if this is the best solution.

    Does anybody know another solution?
