    Is it legal to have a link to copyrighted material (the link is from another site). Someone posted a 'rip' of a song that hasn't come out in stores yet (but on the radio), should I delete it?

    You are linking directly to the file right ? Its not legal of course.

    Doesnt matter where it is, if you are linking directly to the file its illegal.

    It doesn't matter if you want to link to copyrighted material. I see many sites, which links or embed the mp3 or video content to their site

    Any other idea?
