If you get a link from a really authoritive site to an image URL (___.jpg) rather than a standard article URL, does this give your site less ranking power or is it equal?!
In my opinion if you get nofollow link in any format has same ranking power, but link with anchor text are more power full ranking factor.
I wasn't on about do follow and no follow I was just referring to a different destination for the link
