I'm trying to bring my website to a better location in the Search engine, when i ask people to add a link to my website, what shall I ask , a link with specific anchor to an inner page that deals with this issue or a general anchor to the homepage ? For example: My website deals with books and in the homepage i wrote about books in general and each inner page in the website deals with books in a specific niches (science, children, cooking etc'). Now I want to add a link about cooking books, and I have 2 option: 1) Adding a link with the anchor 'cooking books' that will direct to the homepage. 2) Adding a link with the anchor 'cooking books' that will direct to the inner page that deals with 'cooking books'. Which option will be better for my website's SEO and website's PR ? Thanks. D.
