It's been months since I hired a forum poster in SEOClerks to get people promote my website on forums and as expected, traffic increases since then. And I'm considering on doing a new link building campaign to get more visitors coming from another website. Though I have the funds to hire two posters, probably the same poster I hired before, I also want to do one on my own. So, what kind of links do I need to have to increase PageRank?
Yes, link from high PR sites will most helpful for any website...but according to me, don't collect lots of links instantly...collect good quality links but slowly, otherwise it will become a bad effect on your site. If you want to increase your website traffic, then do simple : 1. send mail for link exchange (3 way better) 2. do some social media You definitely get positive results I think.
I agree. Don't get hung up on the PR, but if you are intent on getting a high PR then make sure you are building links on authority sites within your site's niche. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
If you want to build links safely, use link diversity, instead of using same anchor text, use different terms and also link plain URL to look natural ink building. Also build link from PR0 PR N/A sites to high page ranked sites.
Naven's suggestion of link diversity is a good one. Social media, as Popularity Rank mentioned, as well as bookmarking, forum participation and blogging are all helpful in not only increasing rank but in forming community and getting your name out there.
Link diversity? Oh the one that you need to make certain changes on your chosen keywords or key phrases, right? Well, I do that most of the time on various forums and blogs where I comment my links. But how about the choice on dofollow and nofollow links?
I have collected some of the best site of high PR on my blog that are providing free backlinks on that site. You can find those @ http://www.ehowportal.com/high-pr-free-backlinks-websiteblog/
I saw that you suggested Twitter, and Facebook. But aren't outbounding links from that site is nofollow? How can we get link juice from them?
Only get the backlinks or connect your website with those having PR 4+, in other words, if the backlinks coming to your website are from high PR and authority sites then your website PR rapidly increased.
For increasing page rank of your site, you need to build links using high pr pages, blog commenting is good way to build links for getting high pr.
Listen i would suggest the you should be concerned about getting good SERP because Page Rank has nothing to do with 1st page of the search result........So the more good SERP, the better is the chances of getting targeted traffic....... And if you are that much bothered about PR then get through below thread. https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/seo-benefits-in-promoting-and-getting-search-engine-ranking.2637882/
I guess to get both PR and SERP you should try to use all well known methods of link building. But the main idea is to make them look organic. So the point isn't where to get links. The point is how to get more links and do not harm your site. This is the question of the year 2013.
High PR gets your higher up the SERPs and that's great, but I wouldn't get caught up in that. My focus would be getting traffic to my site, so I will build links not to get a high PR, but to promote my site and get users to my site. Getting a high PR would only be secondary. Besides, high traffic contributes to good PR as well. All the best!
