Links Taken Off Before PR Update?

I was wondering I've been wanting to buy a link at a high PR website PR 7+ but of course it's expensive and can only afford 1 month at the moment so my question is if my link is put on the website for only a month then taken off will it do anything to me come time for the PR update? I don't want my money to go to waste thank you.

Yes, your money will be wasted!

Keep in mind that that if you ever do buy a link it should be for the long term and it must be relevant to your own site

A link from a pr7 gambling site to a website about baby diapers, wont do squat

A single link from Pampers.com (Pr6) to a website about baby diapers will give it a nice boost

I agree. Don't waste your money on a 1 month link. You will not see the full benefits of that link. The search engines like stable links rather than links that get taken down shortly after.

also if buying links request an example location

some sellers will give u links on sites that have thousands of other links already posted and those are also worthless

best bet for link building is DIY or direct from the webmaster of the site u want a link on

you would want to leave your links up at least 2-3 months and longer is preferable. any less is a waste of $$$$

I think you don't have to spend money to get a link there are many resources on the net try to use it.

Age of BL is very important factor... Also google not collecting all the BL while updating PR.. now weekly updating BL and once 2-3 months update PR...

If you are looking for PR increase, try to get some dofollow backlinks. If it is permanent link, it is better. Also, don't value it from main page PR, value it from page's PR. It will be better if you can get sidewide dofollow link from higher PR site. I'm sure google will not allow anyone to sell link and guessing that the PR7 site is giving you nofollow link which will not give any effect on your PR.
