Links reported in Google Sitemaps Correct?

    In your google sitemap account there is a section that reports how many backlinks your site has. Is this number accurate? when i type in the google Link:website command i always only get like only 3 or 5 reported links, but in my sitemap account it currently shows 48 links. are these all the links that google takes into acount?

    Your google sitemap account reported the right one, and you have 48 backlinks for sure.

    Google search only gives a sample of backlinks not a true backlink count.

    yes google doesn't gives correct report about actual backlinks but yahoo gives the actual report for your backlinks.

    google does not shows all of your backlinks. the true one is in your webmaster tools panel
