Hi, I get regular request for link exchanges which is great. Many ask for a minimum PR2 link back. Whilst I have PRs 3,2 & 1 in my site, non of my links pages have ever achieved a rank........... My site is 5 years old now.
Is there a method of gaining PR on links pages? Is there a 'robot/google prefered layout for links pages?

    Thanks.

You just have to get more links to that specific page. You can do this very easy using internal linking. Anyway I would recommend this only if you want to sell links. Otherwise it's better to focus on the important landing pages(those that get you money).

Yep I agree you need to build links back to your link pages, the more links you add to those pages without promoting them internally or externally, the more juice you lose.

Whenever you link out, you lose link juice. So you must strategise on getting ones which are important more link juice and letting the more redundant pages lose link juice. This is so that you can make sure the more important pages get higher link authority.

IS your link page is properly connected from your home page? It should be one only one click away from your home page. Google is a bit slow now to give pr quickly. It will take time.
