    Hi all,
    I have exchanged link with a fellow webmaster but the link that he put in his site opens in his sites frame. Meaning that my site displays in a frame of his site and the URL is still his.
    I checked my site stats and clicks on this link counts as a regular link (I see his site as a refering site) but I just wanted to make sure if this links is as good as if he didn't display my site in his frame.
    Thanks

    the link still refers to your site
    the page is only displayed within his own frameset - making your site appear as HIS content but G will see that the frame-target of your page is YOUR site.

    the webmaster may simply have forgotten to correctly configure the target="" for the link to you

    by default a webmaster using frameset hast a default configuration to display ALL content in target="main"
    that results that any link withoiut precise other target definition always will appear inside his frameset in the main window - even foreign pages

    eMail to him and suggest precise HTML code for the link

    that would be inside the a href tag
    target="_blank"

    to open your linked page in a new browser window or browser tab (ffx)
