Can you be banned from youtube for posting your CB affiliate links in the description? I'm a little new to CB and was thinking of doing the video marketing scene.

Youtube would not ban you if you upload few videos, but why not try to see what will happen next after you do that?

If you upload a lot of videos there's a good chance you'll get banned. I've done a lot of youtube promotion back in the day.

If they ban you, just open a new account and keep uploading.

It would be a good idea to keep all your titles and tags in an excel file so that you can copy paste them when they ban you and you're re-uploading the videos.

Ripped's idea is a good and effective idea.

Be sure that Youtube doesn't ban your IP address.

I have seen a few videos on YouTube with hop links in the description. Not sure if they have gotten deleted or banned though.

IMO it would look better if you purchased a cheap .info domain or used a url shortening service because hop links are long and don't look that great.

To be on the safe side do a redirect.

Yes it is best to have a landing page or even a redirect, you might get away with a few but eventually they might shut down your account.

I wouldn't recommend doing this, as it just looks sloppy. Use a redirect or landing page, as everyone else has said.
