Links on resource pages

Hi

A link with good PR and if i do a link exchange and the my link is placed on resource page. Do i get a backlinks from that site.

My only doubt is that placing my link on resource page do i get good backlinks.

Depends entirely on the resource page. Check if the resource page where your link is placed is indexed and cached by Google and make sure there's not too many Outgoing links on the page (optimally less than 50).
If all that is the case your link from the page should be indexed by Google and other search engines.
As for how good such a link is that again depends on a number of factors. Quality of the domain the page is on, quality and relevance of the links on the resource page, etc. In general though links from links or resource pages will always be of less value than links within say content.

in that case you will be focus on lots of things like that page must be related to your theme, must be cached, directely linked by homepage, links must be less than 50 on that page and more

 

You will get a backlink and that is a + but when you exchange links make sure that you get as much as your partner gets... Also make sure to exchange links only with "good neighbours"...

 

Note the PR of the resource page and get links from "quality sites"
