links on myspace....

how do I code a profile link on my page...where it wont be blocked by myspace?

 

add it in your profile with html

myspace as added a redirect on all outbound links tho, so don't expect pr leakage from it.

 

I have added it to my profile...but it redirects to myspace.com

 

There's no way to get around the redirect. I have looked.

 

The only way to get around the redirect is to have added the links b4 the change

If you are being redirected to myspace it sounds like you might be forgetting to add the http:// ? like
<a href="http://www.site.com">site name</a>

 

No, that no longer works in the profile. The links are changed automatically so no juice can be gotten anymoe.

 

I heard the links still work in blogs and bulletins though...

But I'm not sure...
