Links on homepage only of a blog

    Hi,

Here's a question about link placement on blogs. If you place a link on a blog homepage such that it doesn't show up on any other page on that blog, i.e., any of the blog posts, BUT it does still show up on the 'previous posts' or 'older' post pages, is that a problem? Do you looses juice?

There are two ways of looking at it:

On the one hand the link shows up on other pages and not just the homepage.

On the other hand the 'other' pages are all dynamic pages so maybe it isn't a problem.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?

You don't "lose" juice (unless it gets taken away from you), you just spread it around. And no, it likely won't be a problem.

    you won't lose the juice
maybe the blog owner treat link like that to control the total number of OBL on his/her blog,
