I keep seeing things that say blogger and blogspot blogs are nofollow blogs. So if a blogspot or blogger blog links to my site as part of a post or as a link in part of the template such as a blog roll or friends link do those links get an automatic no follow because they are blogger or blogspot blogs? Or are just the comments on these blogs automatically no follow?
Many if not most of the blogspot blogs comments are no follow, but definitely not all in the comments section. It is my understanding that the links in the post, blog roll or friends link are do follow. Lets see if I am right as I am anxious to see if my understanding is correct.
I believe it is the comments that are automatically nofollow. I have a blogspot blog that I experiment on and i don't see nofollow tags on my posts and they are not being highlighted by my Firefox SEO plug-in. For comments, yes, there is an automatic nofollow, at least on the free version. That may be different on their premium products that offer more customization. Hope this helps somewhat
I have found a few of the blogspot comments that are do follow but again I am usually surprised to find them do follow. I happened to check one as I was hoping against hope that it was a do follow and sure enough it was. I read here on dp how to disable the no follow but as "rbucich" said it may be on the premium product?
Blogger or blogspot default as nofollow. However, it can be changed to dofollow. So, NOT all the blogger or blogspot is nofollow
All links inside the post are Dofollow. Per Clarification of NoFollow Hacks for Blogger: Of type 3 (FTP), I only know of a few who have hacked their template code and made them Dofollow. Rare birds, that.
The comments are no-follow, as for turning of the no-follow attribute, after having done exactly what I was supposed to. Using the alexa toolbar and turning on the highlight nofollow links option, it still showed up as no-follow links. So I'm hesitant to think that you can really turn off the nofollow attribute.
