Links not in sitemap reported as 404. What to do?

    I recently made a few changes to my site site. Added fresh content. Deleted old pages and added some new ones. I resubmitted my updated sitemap and now some of the old pages (34 of them) which do not exist any more are being reported as 404 Not Found.


    What should I do now?
