I use twitterfeed and the links on my site are getting pulled as if they are the homepage, to facebook (twitter pulls the titles correctly), Digg and reddit also pull the wrong content, I have wordpress SEO by yoast, I have set up "permalinks" in the default wordpress settings, as: /%postname%-%sitename%- Wordpress SEO is: (I tried loads of other things like %%postname%% etc.. apparently %%title%% is the correct one. %%title%% • %%sitename%% site is www.youngwebbuilder.com. Any help please!!
I'd reach out to the plugin author, he/she might know best how to fix it since it might be a bug in their plugin.
only permalink structure i use is %postname% more info you add to the permalink, longer the title gets and worse your onpage seo becomes. i dont see any reason to add site name on every single post. having the site name on homepage is good enough, even that may not be needed unless you are trying to establish a brand awareness.
