I built 35 Unique Backlinks with 100% Copyscape passed content from different Web 2.0(Like Hubpages, Wordpress) and quality Article Directories (like Ezine, goArticles) etc about 2.5 months back. 90% of the backlinks are indexed on Google but the I think the Juice from them is not coming to my website. Is there need of 2nd Tier backlinks? About 10%-20% of these also have comments or pending comments, hence I knows that they are getting search traffic but the rank of my website is not improving.

    Hey there,

You'll absolutely need backlinks to these properties in order to see any link juice benefit at your money site.

Think of link juice as a pipeline. What you've done is attached 35 pipes to your money site, but the other end of these pipes aren't connected to any source of juice. You'll need links coming into these properties to build their page authority (PA), which is a decent estimate measure of how much link juice is being passed. Check PA here: http://moonsy.com/page_authority/

What kind of links should be built? Because these are web 2.0's and article directories, you have more leniency on the spamminess level of the links you send to these properties. However, this being 2014 and with G getting more and more clever as time goes on, I'd recommend being as conservative as possible. Comments, forums posts, etc are ok, but I'd only go for sites from PR 1+.

Hope this helps. Please 'like' if it did.

You've spent 2.5 months building links from properties that have been spammed to death. You think G is putting a lot of weight on those? I'm guessing those are all new accounts and non established on those properties as well. If your'e just throwing one piece of content up there and calling it a day linking back to your site you're going to have some trouble. In those 2.5 months you could have already started building out relationships and finding only a handful of links that would be more relevant to your website and hold lots more weight. Get active on twitter, forums, and blogs doing some networking. Make an infographic or a useful content piece and approach somebody in your niche to get it on their website with a link back. Those hold way more weight and will stick around for a long time and give you way more edge in the SERPS than building out 2.0s with one content piece and spamming those out. Just my 2c.

Well, I guess the problem is with your back links as recently according to an article on Search Engine land states that back links from ezine articles is spam you can have a more look at it here: searchengineland.com/ezine-articles-press-release-links-supplied-as-bad-backlink-examples-in-wmt-172968
