Links in h1 tags?

    Does anyone know if putting internal page links in h1 tags is a good idea or not?

    I have NO knowledge of any disadvantage of links inside H1

    however
    H1 is SEO practice
    internal links as well is beneficial SEO practice

    to combine BOTH MAY BE make you loose ONE SEO advantage WITHOUT creating disadvantage or penalty ...

    in my opinion it makes more sense to separate both SEO factors:
    H1
    and separate internal links - with same anchor text as ajor keyword(s) of H1

    AVOID H1 links in the first place, if you want to play safe :eek:

    H1 tags have been exploited so much that google/yahoo have stopped relying on them :eek:

    I don't know if the internal links that has ah1 tag has an effect on teh SEO. I do know that H1 is good.
