Hi, this is my first post - I've been waiting ages to register so hopefully one of you geniuses can explain something to me :D

Theres a website www.thedentalspa.org and according to submitexpress it doesnt have any links in Google. Yet if you google "www.thedentalspa.org" there are plenty of sites with links to it. Can someone explain in laymans terms?

    Cheers

The software use a "link:thedentalspa.org" to get the number. It's zero.

It's true that if you type the domain it will give results.

    That means:
The backlinks exist however, google does not think those backlinks are important enough to be considered in the algo and does not display them. Unlike normal search (where you type the domain) where G tries to give any relevant results possible no matter it is strong (plenty result) or weak, the backlink search will display only strong results, not the weak backlinks.
