Hi all what should we do to get backlinks in google. i am getting backlinks in yahoo but not in google. I have done lots of of aricle submission blog posting but not a single link in google even articles are cached by google. Regards With Rakesh
You need to wait for this, if your site is new with low backlinks, then you need to wait for few months.
Don't worry about Google. They show barely under 1% of your backlinks, often not showing any of them.
1. Google takes its time before starting to display your backlinks. The update usually only happens a few times every year. However, this doesn't mean that your backlinks don't count toward your rankings. They do - it's just the matter of displaying them. 2. Google only shows a fraction of your backlinks. Yahoo Explorer is much more accurate (but still doesn't display all) so there's no reason to worry if you know that a site is linking to yours but it doesn't come up when doing the "links:" search.
Google is extremely slow in updating backlinks. I worked very hard to get backlinks for one particular blog post, and Google never updated that for a month. The moment it updated, I saw >400 backlinks just for that blog post.
You are not building links for a specific search engine. What you are actually asking is why you cannot SEE existing links in Google. The answer is you never can see all your links, so dont worry about it, just keep building them.
If you are posting here google will show this as a link, if you have your site URL in your signature. Go to google webmaster tools in a couple of days and you will see your links.
Yahoo site explorer shows more number of backlinks than Google does. Often Google doesnt show many backlinks that you have. This is very well-known. You can use other tools to check backlinks, like wholinkstome.com, backlinkhunter, backlinkcheck, etc.
You can do comment posting on high PR blogs, social book marking, forum participation and article submission.
