    How long does it take for backlinks to show up on google?

    I am listed on msn(8) and yahoo(52), but I have yet to get a backlink for google.

    My website is a little over a month old, and I have a couple pr5, and pr3 sites linking me.

    Couple of months I believe... I am in the same boat with 61 on Yahoo, and 20 on MSN.

    Google only lists some of your backlinks, so some may never show up.

    Search Google for "www.domain.com" instead (with the double quotes). Then you'll be able to see all of the web sites that have a link to yours, even if Google doesn't count it as backlink.

    That only shows sites that link to you using your domain name as the anchor text.

    And indexed over a month ago.

    Backlinks in google are only updated once in a time. I believe it's something like 3-4 months. This applies only to visible backlinks. SO they are indexed but not exported yet to the main results taht you see.

    It takes nearly three to four months update for google to show backlinks. I think it is with PR update. So, once you have more backlinks, more chances of getting better PR.
