Links in Google compared to other sites.

    Why doesn't Google pick up all the links to my sites that yahoo and msn does?

    What are google's requirements for links?

    you have to wait for a google (pr) update for backlinks to show up.. also i've heard that only pr3 or higher backlinks are shown

    Google has for long period of time been showing a sampling of links to your site. It will for now never show all of the backlinks that you have.

    the PR update and the BL update are usually two different events

    Yes, as Cnadianbacon mentioned a BL update is usually done before the PR update.

    It is quite common to have several BL updates to 1 PR update. Also the PR is actually much older, google calculate it real-time. And you just see old results.
