Links in a Sitemap - What about links to "tags"?

    AFIAK no need for it...
    Just a straight permalink to ur blog post is more than enough
    BTW i think it would be harmful to u if u include it coz google may sense duplicate content and might penalize the site..i'm not sure...let's see what DP experts say..?

    no need google sitmap convert link. it will froud. permanet link in post is good.

    okay, thanks for your input. however, sometimes tag urls show up in search results. is that because of the google bot parsing the tag link or do you think they submit the tag link is a valid link in the sitemap?

    Best on my experience you not need to include tag for Google crawl, to control it you could use META TAG GENERATOR PLUGIN.

    I've never included tags in my sitemaps and don't believe you should either.
