Hi, I was checking some other sites about where there external links were coming from. I found some were comming from youtube or metacafe or these kind of sites. (I used links:www.example.com) I went to the specific links shown on the result pages, and I found their video clips. However I did not found any specific link to their websites. For example, it says the site is linked from http://truvideo.com/username/id/123456789 Or something like that. But I couldn't find any specifik link(s) to the video owners website.... I know it is a layman question but can you explain how it works? (Youtube, metacafe, truvideo etc) Thanks!
I didn't check every video related pages so I'm not 100% sure but I didn't see comments or links from the comments....
Usually, posters include url of their website in the video description or at least add a watermark to the video. I want to believe it was a mistake on the path of the poster but as it is, the poster is not looosing completely. You can Pm me for details! Br Seo_genius
I am agree with SEO_genius. Video sites are also widely being using for getting backlinks. User can post their videos with a small description which contains the link of the site and important keywords too. there are lots of videos site. few of them are metacafe, veoh.com yahoo video, dailymotion and off course youtube
Its' a basic thing, if video is commercially made then there should be URL given over there in the video.
Thanks guys, I know putting key words in the descriptions etc... However, in the specific sites I am talking about, the videos themselves don't have any links inside of the videos, also in description parts theare are website address but they are not anchor linked(just site addresss in plain texts). In some pages I can't even find any trace of their sites. (I copy and pasted the source of one page and it does not include any of the site addresses of his/hers.) That's why I am wondering about it...
