Are PR 3 links from myblogname.wordpress.com & myblogname.blogspot.com considered to be quality links? Is it worth of my effort to look for wordpress and blogspot links? Thx!
Comments from either site are automatically nofollowed. You may get some benefit from blogroll or in-content links. Some people think blogger links are crawled more deeply because it belongs to Google, I haven't tested this and kind of doubt it. On the other hand, all links are good. But personally, I'd be targetting different types of sites, ones that don't have a trillion outbounds.
You mean links in the sidebar? Yes, I have found them very effective, especially if the blog is aged and has many pages. But only the owner of the account can add those links. Get them if you can, but if you are trading from a top-level domain with the same PR, you are trading down a bit imo.
Yes, blogroll links do count, and blogroll links from blog.wordpress.com and blog.blogspot.com help increasing your site's backlinks more than other PR2 and PR3 sites. This is what I've recently observed while building links for one of my site! Regards,
Yes, they count. Another trick is the "most popular commenter" widget. If a blog has one, and you comment enough (without spamming), then you will get placed in this widget, which is DoFollow.
I do not know about wordpress, put I can confirm that blogspot.com is crawled very often. But imporant are links from blogroll because they are DoFollow ones.
Hi, As per my knowledge, blog.wordpress.com and blog.blogspot.com are C-Class IP. For e.g. ur site have 100 backlinks from various blogspot blogs but after all, links are coming from C-Class IP. So as point of view backlinks, they are not much useful. At another point, I'm thinking that C-Class IP SEO strategy is outdated and may now be a popular SEO myth. Well, what others thinking about this? Hoping for some good inputs from u guys.
A link is a link.. but unless you're paying for a dofollow link than these are not nearly as effective... advice? cough up the dough
If you're just starting out trade blogroll links with other blogs for sitewide links of similar page rank, this will help you out in the long run. Just keep building and don't worry so much about where you're getting your links. After a while you can sort by link strength in Site Explorer and then focus on the powerful links.
I tested blogspot and wordpress on who will get the first PR. With almost the same content and number of updates. I found wordpress faster than blogspot on PR. Second, I got crawl from Wordpress while it takes time to be crawl in blogspot.
Hello. Ia getting a good number of links also helps me to get good PR?How can I get Pr 5 or 6 for my site? Kim
