Links from Qassia

Another forum member suggested this website for back link building www.qassia.com and on the face of it, it looks quite good.

However, I was wondering how valuable the back links would be.

Here is an example of a Qassia member who has written a post, which features a back link to their own website at the bottom of their post called iwebmedia

    Example;

    http://www.qassia.com/why-you-shoul...strategies-to-create-profit-for-your-business

How powerful is this back link for them?

How insignificant is it as the back link is originating from a page with a PR-0

Just wanted to know if it is worth using this site myself to generate back links to my own site

    Cheers

I think it is sort of article website. And if u look into the source of the link u have given here in your post.. then you may find that link (of "iwebmedia") under nofollow tag which means the website has directed the search engine spiders not to follow that link.

Hence the link is not at all benefited in terms of getting backlink. However, it could be benefited in terms of traffic if any visitor arrives on the article or if the article appear in SERP.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

I have checked the link and I think you will find that it is a 'dofollow' link.

The link that I am taling about is the one at the bottom of the page at http://www.qassia.com/why-you-shoul...strategies-to-create-profit-for-your-business

It says Added by Helenhall and then there is an ad for her website iwebmedia and the following anchor text link

I have a stock pile of articles and work I have written on all sorts of topics over the years, such as old university essays, other study literature and more recent stuff concerning projects and business products, all of which I believe will be interesting to people who are themsleves involved with these respective topics.

I have started posting these to Qassia and I have consequently accumilated a reasonable amount of Qassia dollars and back links without having to sit down and think what to write, simply by posting stuff I have saved over the years.

My SERP on google.com has improved significantly since this, and whilst I can not be sure it is as a direct result, something has had an affect. Since 20th Sep I have gone from SERP 169 to SERP 28 for my primary keyword phrase.

I have set multiple deep link pages for Qassia to back link to, not just my home page.
