links from old posts ....

    HI

    Is getting links from olds posts of forums or blogs that has a PR considering spamming ? Would Google give some value to these links ?

    I am just curious to know about it, i have 20 something .edu .gov "forums threads" with a PR 2, 1 and 3, where i can easily get a link from signature etc.

    NOt this is good.
    Most blogs are devalued and so are many evern .govs, but this shows real grit

    Most spammers do go after .edu and .gov links but if you can get them legitimately than there's really nothing to worry about, just don't spam it to death... :)

    edu and gov domain will contribute something to your PR but not much I guess. It is not stated in the Google TOS but it is always advised by blogging gurus.
