I'd like to know if the links from articles posted on Squidoo, HubPages, EzineArticles and other article directories still work even after the Google Panda update? Is it worth submitting unique and quality articles to these article directories? I mean a unique article for each article directory (not the same article for all of them). Will such links help my website? Or should I rather avoid article directories?
they still work to some extent. try to find article directories that are not abused so much and off google radar. same goes with web 2.0 sites, find that are not over utilized
Yep, they are still good to use. Panda is only after dupe content, so you can spin an article very well and get past panda.
Squidoo definitely works - more so than Hubpages. The biggest difference with Ezine post-Panda is that you can no longer reap the benefits of its republishing feature. The site still has some value though.
All three sites have worked very well for me in the past and continue to do so. I'm a firm believer in Article Marketing and promote this every chance I get. Being a supplier of high quality content, I naturally look for high quality sites to submit to quite regularly and then analyze the effects. My advice to you is this: Keep on submitting fresh content frequently -- different content to each site -- It's worth the effort. In my opinion EzineArticles tops the list, then Squidoo, then HubPages. Some might disagree though.
All Web 2.0 sites and article directories are gems in SEO not only in getting links but also driving traffic to your site with unique visitors. If you ignore then you have to blame yourself for losing your position to your competitors.
these are web 2.0 web sites and also work for ranking and generating traffic in huge amount on your website.you can post different or same article on these sites. But if you have many article post different on all that.It make all 2.0 sites unique and help to generate PR.
There are far more effective ways to build links. These strategies worked a few years ago...I'd move on and focus on attracting higher quality links.
Yes they are still working after Google Panda updates. But there are many ways of backlinks, you may do and get results better.
All the sites have made changes after the Panda update especially HubPages it difficult getting articles approved if they are copied or spun, but on the whole they still have good authority.
