Yes, you will lose some PR value if the site where you get your backlink from dropped their PR value.

That's why you must continuously build backlinks for your website.

ya it is for sure that you will get rid of that PR value. So try submitting your sites into directories and keep building the backlinks..

Not only will you lose that PR but it could potentially be penalized additionally. It doesn't look good to Google when your links are changed/removed from another site.

Linking to high PR site doesn't mean you can get a higher PR,
it should be your site have the same or similar niche,
such as web design blog links to web design related sites. hahhah...

Actually it is effective for your website to buy links, until you are reported as link buyer and get penalty from google. Selling links is he same, but selling links decrease the rating of your website

Theoretically your PR juice will reduce, and your PR will drop

Pagerank is a mathematical no. calculated constantly though we get to see the same cache for 2-3 months. Thus of course it will change with decrease or increase in backlinks. For the same reason, people are obsessed about high PR permanent backlinks...if you try to buy them, it will be costlier:)

So I always say buying links from a "high" PR site is dangorus. If the linkseller deleted all your links, google may penalize your site. One of our site nearly met such condition.

Sure, if the linking site/page got a penalty for selling links then those links will become almost useless as it won't pass PR nor Anchor Text value ;)

yes this is true :) because if you add your link into a high pr site's footer, ur site can be enter google filter but using hight pr page dont do this even.

lol.. yes, you are correct in some way. Similar niche gives a positive effect to similar niche link building. It also helps to increase SERP results.

You won't lose any PR as long as other links stayes the same, one link cannot effect the PR value

Maybe not, but it can at least affect the SERP if it's penalized.
