I hope so, im doing it daily. But this is really the only forum i read and mean to post because i like it.
not all forum posts get high pr .. so trick is look for older threads which have some pr and post in them to get quality back links
Don't expect to much weight from backlinks in forums. Even though search engines love to crawl forums, threads usually don't carry to much weight themselves, as most of the time they have more outgoing then incoming links. The main two advantages of forum postings are: a) You get the choose the text in the anchor tag, which will be keywords for Google. b) If your postings are relevant, you have the chance to get some word of mouth out. So, in general it is a good idea to participate in discussions, but it's only one of many methods you have to use to drive traffic to your site.
thanks buddy for the do-follow forums. thanks... again just a quick question. Which one is better? 1) to make a post in maximum number of forums and put our link there or 2) choose few popular forum (related to our site niche) and to participate in discussion to branding our site pls reply
Great post - but I've heard that clearly it is better to ask a forum member who has a tremendous amount of posts to put your sig link instead of trying to cultivate all of your own. I can see the efficiency in doing it, but I'm wary that Google will see 500+ inbound links within a relatively short time period and flag it. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
