We all know building links from ezinearticles can help SERPS. But, I believe if done correctly, it can help your SERPS 100x more than just a normal submission. Recently I was researching how this person got to a high spot on a 5,000,000 search term keyword, which is highly competitive, since I'm certain it's a very profitable keyword. This website only has 1,300 backlinks, so I researched it a bit more. I noticed this website had massive submissions to ezinearticles. That's easy to do - I have that also for all my websites. But, I looked a little deeper and realized all his 50 + ezinearticles submissions were PR 2 to PR 4 pages. Now, I'm pretty sure PR for articles don't randomly come, because I've got articles from a year ago still with no PR (not even the white bar representing PR 0) So, my question is, how did this guy get all his ezinearticle submissions to PR 2 to PR 4? They were submitted in January 2008, so it wasn't something years ago. Based on the tools I used, he had no backlinks directed at those articles. Is there a trick to it?
If he's one of the top 100 authors, his author profile page gets passed PR, and the top 250 articles he's written (most recent, actually) have PR-passing links from that page as well. It's also helpful to interlink your Ezine Articles when appropriate. The full details: From the ezine articles homepage, click Expert Authors, which takes you to this page: http://www.ezinearticles.com/?type=experts (PR 6) Those links are all followed. When you click through to an individual author, their page should be PR5 (ie http://www.ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize) Then click an article - note that the toolbar PR may not show data, as the articles linked from this page are the most recent, and have likely been authored since the previous toolbar PR update. Still, PR is flowing. They may also be building links to their articles, which I highly recommend as a way to rank them for the terms you're after.
He's not top 100. But, his profile page is a PR 4.. the http://ezinearticles.com/?expert= [name goes here] it makes sense then. I'll just purposely build up my expert profile PR, since top 100 is near impossible. Also, his BestSyndication & Buzzle articles all have PR 2 to PR 4. Is there a reason for this as well?
Your profile page having a PR and that passing PR to your articles have nothing much to do with SERP except maybe PR... And it is not ONLY because his articles are PR3-4 that he is ranking well.. My guess.. his articles must have been picked up by many sites... About the rank of his pages... The PR update last Qtr was very very generous.. I have shitty websites and shittier pages with PR 5 and 4... New page that I added in Feb got pr 4 in that update.. I am preparing for the worst though... I guess those pages will sure loose their rank SOOON.. Again back to Ezine articles.. It is not the quality of the articles but the quantity that matter. Add as many as possible, and there are tens and hundreds of sites that will copy those articles with ur links intact.. And it depends on the niche.. In more competitive/saturated niches, chances of many thin websites that copies content are many, so they rank better.. This article http://www.ezinearticles.com/?Is-Barack-Hussein-Obama-a-Muslim-by-Birth?&id=1246120 By the number one write has no PR... It was also submitted in Jan...
If someone publishes your article on their site using the "Ezine Publisher" feature of ezinearticles and if that person has a high PR site, that could eventually set a page rank for your article....especially if it's published several times on high PR sites. One of my articles have a PR 4. It's been published 15 times. So, I'm assuming one or several sites that have published my article have a good PR rating.
He is social bookmarking his articles.. Propeller can give you pr 6 links, I have PR on all my ezine articles.
hey guys i have a question should i submit articles to the same directories or always to different one? and sometimes i get to use 2 links, should i use them both to link to my site? or make some links strategy
it's simple man! digg your article, ping it,reddit it,stumble it,save it on delicious and spin ur articles and post it to other article directories and link back to your ezinearticles, simple
