    DMOZ = 1
    WEBMASTERS = 0

    That is my vote.

    Some webmasters, not all, simply cannot get on with each other. They can't group up and they don't take kindly to free advise. They get offended and aggressive at best.

    Feed some webmasters a lot of crap and they love you for it. Offer them good advice and they hate you for it.

    If given the choice, I'd pferer to be amongst DMOZ editors than webmaster. Yep, you guessed, it's Plantation.

    I really feel sorry for some of you guy's, you have not got a clue what a webmaster is about. I'm not a webmaster so don't think I am being aloof.

    The silliest reply I got was when I suggested to a webmaster to promote his link. He refused because it would also promote his competitors. And he wanted a DMOZ link "all for himself".

    This is not the kind of thing the internet is about and a lot of evidence to the contrary of the internet exists here and is being fostered in these kind of low grade forums.

    The internet is about the distribution and availabilty of information. Some of you guy's don't get it. And you are a waste of time communicating with.

    See how silly you are annie? You just don't have anything to say. Unbelievable.

    You just don't have what it takes to create a constructive and profitable discussion. You cannot manouvre a negative to a positive.

    Do you really think I give a TOS about this forums TOS? Do you really think you know anything about DMOZ?

    You are one of the ones I feel sorry for.

    Nice knowing you. Seeeeeee ya.

    We know you don't care about this forum's TOS, you've proven that yourself. I'm sure I know more about DMOZ than you do.

    Seems gworld's analysis of you was correct. You've been a funny diversion but it's getting old, you can go away now.

    You know Annie is from Michigan and can't speak your language. Try not to use Babelfish frequently.:eek:

    So what is the meaning of DMOZ, care to explain ?
    Do you know who are the editors here or not ?
    Do you know where Annie edits ? Her rank and her accomplishments ?

    Can you tell that to Shawn's face.:rolleyes:

    I don't want to start an argument but before applying to be an editor I read the submission guidelines and understood them in 15 minutes. I was accepted and had metas keeping an eye on my work. Over 50 approvals and only one correction. It is really not that hard. My advice: when you submit a site, look at the other listings and you will understand how to do yours. It's really that simple. Always make sure you are submitting in the right place. I will agree with you on one item though. Some sites fall into "grey" areas where it may be hard to find the proper directory.

    You have referred to the fact that you only edit in local areas. I assume you mean a certain part of Regional. Grant it, Regional is an area that is easier to interpret the guidelines than other areas, but even in Regional, there are vast discrepancies in the interpretation of the guidelines. Try crossing over to the UK using the general Regional guidelines.

    There are most definitely areas other than Regional in the directory where guidelines go way beyond grey into totally muddy waters.
