Links from different language pages

Does anybody know if Google ranks links from non-english to an english language page any differently than same-language to same-language links? I'm just curious because I noticed today that I've been getting lots of links from German, Portuguese and Spanish sites.

Shouldn't matter imo. At the moment, a link's a link. But, there was (and still is) some speculation about Google implementing TSPR. This hasn't been done yet, I think. And, it won't be easy to implement either.

But, when (and if) Google implement it, it might start making a difference then. Until then, the more links you have the better. Even if you don't gain anything in terms of PR, you might still gain from referred traffic from these links.
