Not sure how many times people are going to have to explain this to members here at DP- direct link exchanges between sites is DEAD in terms of positive SEO. Look for 3-way links to ensure you're not wasting your time with links and campaigns that won't render an increase within your SERPS. WebDev
3 way link exchange is the best way ! 4 is also good! here is the forum of link exchange : Here: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/forums/link-exchange.53/
Providing they appear natural, how can a 3-way exchange possibly be dead- how can Google make a connection between the links? Just execute properly and you won't face any issues. Regards, WebDev
WebDev solution. Would I have access to the 150 blog post if I paid for it? And is it compulsory that I buy a plan every month?
Hi, You would be provided with a report detailing the posts that have been created- and you do not need to purchase the service on a monthly basis, no. Anyway, back on topic. WebDev
From my customers experiences link exchanges are more harm than good so my advice is to stay out of such link schemes.
Decide where on your site you are happy to have other people's links, decide what kind of links you are happy to have and put them up. How you put them up and organise them depends on the content management system you are using on your page.
Well, I don't us any black hat or gray hat method of promotion, it is not good for your website, I would say.
Sure you do. Everytime you post a comment with a link or a new article posted somewhere like hubpages etc that is all grey hat tactics. Anytime you intentional create offsite promotion without a third party endorsement directly that is Greyhat. Black hat is trickery like redirects, scripts, clickjacking etc. That is all very very bad. But any seo worth its grain of salt ALL employ greyhat methods unless you have just one site with extreme niche authority like "Godaddy.com" or bizzyshark.com" ect. Otherwise if you are working on optimizing multiple site the only true "WHITE HAT" is on site optimization only and is only partially beneficial to a certain limited extent. Google doesnt penalize you for creating uniques articles on hubpages etc with links back to your target site, they penalize you for unnatrual linking methods which decieve the end user , or tricking people if you will to visit your site for something they were searching for when your site is not even relevant. All the updates everyone saw from Big G pretty much hit just adsense blog networks. Like thats it. Real business sites with real content were not affected and continual back linking such sites will make a difference between position 9 and position 1.
the best backlinks are ONE-way. Sites pointing links to you with rel="dofollow". If those links are fit into keywords is better and if those sites are relevant to your site keyword content is the best (especially if they have high PR) Otherwise backlinks that are barely relevant to your site, you're going to need some 30,000 backlinks that have a Page Rank of at least 2 to boost your own PageRank...but because the relevance is off you wont place as high in Google SERPS which is what your overall goal is. Mine for relevant, highPR if possible, and start with .gov and .edu There is a sppecific process you can follow to get the most bang for your buck.
There are white hat methods that aren't considered infraction by google and work better than many blackhat SEO techniques. One specific method is: Google scores specific business and .gov and .edu higher (most already know about the gov and edu) But one thing that is missed is, Specific types of business sites. Printers, Medical, (anything considered in a community of relevance to a community)..as opposed to say "BillyBobs Bumpshop" Making websites such as those specifics and even adding an Association section to them with ALL communy doctor, dentist, (medical) , or Fire, Police, EMT etc with their websites links pointing to yours. Then articles with outgoing links to your website you want ranked in Google. (Creating your own Link site from high PR and community 'good neighborhood' links is a powerful option.
Lol, and again this is grey hat, because you are placing links on these sites for the purpose of increasing relevance of another site without specific third party endorsement. All true SEO is grey hat.
But according to Google its undetectable whitehat. Undetectable as far as indisputable by their Terms. Also with their Logarithm
but if links exchange is not good, what about those website directories who sometime ask for links exchange before a website could be considered for listing?
