Hi to all! I have a site xxx.co.uk but in the close future it will be redirected to xxx.com I'm building links for xxx.com now What do you think - is any problem possible here? Do I need to wait when .com site up live or I can build links already now? Thanks a lot for your help
phew. i would wait in this situation. i would wait and then build links to the new site. or just keep the present site and not redirect - why set yourself up for wasted effort?
Hello, I wouldn't advise on building links towards a site that is not live yet. It would be best building links for the .co.uk version of the site and then make a permanent redirect towards the .com domain and the links should follow trough. I guess the question you should ask yourself now is: how close is that "close future"?, and would it be worth the heads up of links already built.
well dont seo a website which is not live , you can seo your .co.uk one and then meta direct to the new domain
I think kodut is right , I have seen many good pro blogger did this when they jumped to their own domain names .
It would be better if you should wait until the xxx.com become live because when saerch engine find the link to your site they won't see your site because its down.
