links and PR

So, a link to your site is weighted by your PR. correct?

But is this the PR of the site in general (some form of average?) or the PR of the links page which is often zero....

One of my sites has PR 4, but the links page (that no one ever links to) is PR 0. Is it worth even putting links on there

Am I misunderstanding the connection between links and PR?

    TIA

All the pages you front page links to will get some pr as well so if the link page had links from the front page it would probably get a PR of 3

Ok, thanks for that - kind of obvious now you've explained it....

do images from another site affect PR in any way? as in can a hyperlinked image give any pr to the host site?

    thanks
