    1. Why Links Are Important

Probably the word that associates best with Web is “links”. That is what hypertext is all about – you link to pages you like and get linked by pages that like your site. Actually, the Web is woven out of interconnected pages and spiders follow the links, when indexing the Web. If not many sites link to you, then it might take ages for search engines to find your site and even if they find you, it is unlikely that you will have high rankings because the quality and quantity of links is part of the algorithms of search engines for calculating relevancy.

Links are the lifeblood of any successful site on the internet. Without internal links how would visitors find their way around your site?

Link Building is done to connect One site to other sites. For example, you are known by some well known person, then you will be also well known to all within few days. In the same way when a new site will be linked at some high traffic sites it's traffic will also be high

Correct. Backlinks are the lifeblood of the internet and SEO. However there are other important things to remember as well, like having good quality content. You can have millions of links, but if your content sucks or if you are blatantly breaking rules you probably won't have a very good ranking.
