Just in case anyone's interested in the Advanced Membership, shoot me a PM for a discount. It sounds like a lot of you at this thread are pretty enthuised about LinkMetro...so I figured I'd "reward" you for your positive comments. :)

    Best of luck!

Matt Callen (Brad's brother...or I like to refer to him as "my brother") ;)

i tried it out afew days ago, but wasnt very happy with the quality of some sites who wanted a link exchange. some of them had a 404 instead of a links.php, others a few hundred outgoing links on a single page or the whole site was crap (very poor design, heaps of affiliate links but almost no content, page title like "car rental, car hire, cheap car hire, car hire england, car hire wales, ....").
so i send emails if i find good page and ask for an link exchange; even if i only get 1 link per week this way.
    also, see ...google.../intl/en/webmasters/guidelines.html :
"Don't participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or "bad neighborhoods" on the web, as your own ranking may be affected adversely by those links."
i think i dosnt looks good to google if a small site gets to much new links per day...

As with anything you need to have an overall approach to link building.

    Not just reciprocals.

linkmetro when used correctly can be a great way to find easy link partners. But should also be used in conjunction with building one way links, article submissions.

And of course great content to back your site up.

IMHO, the idea is good. I have also got good recip links from the service.

Of course, you need to be selective because there are many build-for-adsense sites that will want to link to you. I would normally ignore their request.

Yes, I've fine-tuned turned the filter to my category. It still doen't cut out the PR0s. When Brad makes the site more useful with a PR equality button, I'll use this service on more of my 30 sites.

    I like using Linkmetro
when I still PR0 is hard to get links, but when my site PR4 now..there's many links request everyday :D

should I approve site that look like the same, same link pages format (selling e-books/e-course) and they request in the same days... ?? but few of them have PR2-3
