I signed up for this linking service and it works real smooth and easy. I was able to get many link exchanges in a short amount of time. It seems that this kind of automated link exchanging may easily be spotted by Google, any thoughts?
I don't see any problem with it either....I used it for my last two websites, and then got a PR3 in a month or so...But then I decided to start SEO, Web Designing and Server Administration for other websites...So I don't pay much attention to them anymore! They are: http://www.cpitems.com/ http://www.fasteasysubmission.com/ **P.S. If you want to buy any of them, send me an offer above $200 for the first one and $100 for the second one!!
I use the free version, and use my php directory to create the backlinks. It's pretty easy, and I get 5-10 link requests per week.
It may be me, but I don't understand what you just said. Anyway you can explain it better? I'm guessing you meant, Google's Algorithmn doesn't give any advantages to that type of link farming.
Hi, if you do a search for allintext:linkmetro there are a few sites that have grey toolbar PR, and are likely banned. It was a quick check by me, and it doesn't mean much by itself because a site can get itself banned for many reasons, but I'd spend a bit more time looking into it before I signed up. Cheers, Paz.
Ya me to use Linkmetro Many More time. It work very good. But the single drawback is, It provide many of zero Pr link page partners sites. And also about "Select Link Request filters". If you submit more then 1 sites with only single user name then this service can't work properly for you all Sites. In other words you have to hide your 1 site from the Link Metro directory. If you get benifits of this service.
I have a site I signed up as an advanced member in linkmetro [$20 month] and I am getting about 3 -6 links a day. One click adds them to my links directory and I like that. I'll let you know how it works out. There are some sites in link metro who do have very high PR and nice traffic. I have found that most all of the directory "link farm" pages your site ends up on have O pr though and are barried within their sites. One good thing is you can be as selective as you want about who you link with.
If you use linkmetro properly it can be useful. You can just trade with related sites, in that sense it's useful. What I don't like about it is their sales page and the fact that they don't warn people about trading with unrelated sites. As someone else mentioned, most of the links are from 0 PR (if you choose to take them) and many are linking to anything and everything so getting links from these site won't make you look too legit to Google as they look spammy. I used to use it and I was getting about 30 link requests per day. My pages allready had 5 and 6 pageranks so all those spammy links probably did me more harm than good. Link Metro never answered any of my e-mails, not even my request to have my account removed. So it's still there. Now with the paid service everyone is probably using the same layout (I think-haven't used it) and probably most of the same links (if you're paying to insert as many links as easily as possible) so Google may pick up on that pattern and make it worse for those sites, maybe, I don't know. Also when I started checking the incoming links from those requesting exchanges I found that many didn't even have a way of reaching their links page from their main page, so they were actually not even giving you a link Google could index. I say, don't waste your time, spend it building an awesome, awesome Web site with great original content and usability, the kind of site where people say WOW and want to link to it because it's amazing.
Wow, I actually did not know that! So paid members of LinkMetro will have a PR0 Rank most likely for their directory. However, I seriously just suggest using the free version of LinkMetro..You will get a good amount of links as well and the number of links increase according to your page rank, because everybody will want a high PR website linking to them obviously
i found that I was getting sites that were totally unrelated to my site. It was a gadget blog and i got sites for vacations etc. Hope it works for you. Skinny
I just signed up, based on a positive review elsewhere, and now I regret it based on this information. I, too, cannot seem to remove my site (I registered 2 - now, cannot remove the second one). I have e-mailed them to ask them to remove it but fear I'll be dealing with the same. However, you don't receive inbound links until you accept a link request, correct? So if you don't accept any, you can prevent having links from bad neighborhood sites or otherwise irrelevant sites, correct?
linkmetro is from seo elite creator Brad Callen, I think he knows what he's doing as far as reciprical links go. I signed up for the free service, and get 6-10 link exchange requests per week, mostly unrelated, pr0 sites, but hey, any link is better than no link (unless it's banned, I check it first in the google toolbar) it's not a linkfarm, because all the links first have to be appoved by both webmasters. -RonMo
