Hey was just wondering on people's thoughts about this site, and whether it could be a good addition to building links or not?

I tried it a while back and all the links were low quality from very poor sites. I never used it again.

Linkmarket - now there's a service and for real this can be very useful depending on how you use it!

Many sites there will build a links page but will not have it linked to from anywhere. Therefore there's no way of a search engine or anyone for that matter of ever finding the page. They do this in hopes of getting one way inbound links from unsuspecting webmasters. The sites that do have legit links pages are usually of very low quality.

Not an effective link strategy at all IMHO. Low quality backlinks.

Yes you will be able to find links. But im not sure you would even want these links pointing to your site since the majority about 90-95% of the links you will gain are low quality. So they will probably do more bad than good for your site.

Well good luck with your website linking.

Have never really liked linkmarket.net much, not exactly "quality backlinks"

No, not quality backlinks in general, BUT there are a few quality sites depending on your niche. Of course if you're willing to take the time to investigate all the potential link exhcanges in your niche (exhanges outside your niche are useless), you'd be just as efficient using Google. The only "feature" oflinkmarket IMO is their automatic checking for continued reciprocal linking, but you could set up phpLD on your site and use it to manage your reciprocal links just as effectively.

linkmarket is counterproductive imo. Even if you're willing to wade through hundreds of requests (as I have) to find the few worth exchanging with it's just not worth the time. Better to spend time meeting other Webmasters in similar niche or with your kids.

As everyone already said, linkmarket is not that attractive. I would try adbrite.com or adspace-auctions.com

Just a heads up on Linkmarket.

After 1 1/2 years of using Linkmarket and contacting over 8,200 sites, my site has recieved todate only 21 Google links from it. All PR0 pages with over 20 links on it.

This type of link program should not be used for inbound linking. It does not work.
