Greetings I was wondering if Linkmarket.net is a good place to start a link campaign at. I used it for a while and apart from the tons of off-topis sites asking me to link they have some reputable sites with good pr too. Has anyone had any previous experience with them? What is the best similar service? Of course I'm already using the coop but I'm trying to find stable links on related web pages. Thanks in advance.
All I can say is I'm very happy with Linkmarket. I'm using it since September and I've made all my backlinks via Linkmarket. I've paid to be a full member and than I've made plenty of link exchanges. Now my site gets 1500+ visitors a day and has a PR of 4.
if you use linkmarket, dont set up a master account. I merged all 3 of my sites into a master account, paid, and I still have limited access for them. Support is far less than optimal or timely for that site. I'd agree with fryman, linkmarket does nothing that you can't do yourself - you just get the pleasure of being forced to answer viagra link exchange requests instead of just deleting them from your inbox.
Every now and then you will see their live support online, you cna always chat with them, I fixed several issues that way. I sent some emails, never got a reply, but my problem was always fixed in a couple of hours, can't say anything bad about their support. I really like that place, it is a very good way to find interested people in trading links. And if you pay your membership you will be able to pick who to do trades with and you can check their PR and Alexa rank.
i'm a member there. all i can say is that if you're not willing to pay to be a full member, don't join. you get a hell lot of weird sites asking for link exchanges (including poker and viagra sites) and you don't have a choice of filtering these requests. wanting out of the program is also a hassle. you cannot terminate the account yourself and have to send the admin an email (which you may not get a reply).
I've sent an email yesterday and got a prompt reply. As far as I know they're the best service for link exchange but I have to agree that the only way to have a really serious service is to pay to become a full member. Does anyone know any other similar service to make a comparison?
I can also vouch for linkmarket, I've been a full member for a month and I've traded a few hundred links. I guess I'll just have to wait until next year to see their effect on google
My initial experience with linkmarket is not good, even though it is MY FAULT. I quote - ---------- Hi Linkmarket, Please help me out of la-la land. I noticed that I mistakenly screwed up my sign-up by putting an EXTRA PERIOD in my email address. Therefore, I get no confirmation email from you. If I try to reenter the info, I am booted out, because "user already exists". Your php email blew me off, after I typed in all my info. TWICE. Your type of email allows me NO COPY, no record, and I don't even know if you received it. In this case, clearly not, since it blew up. So I am trying to contact you this way, to fix this problem. Thank you very much. Vaughn Aubuchon --------- This was sent to webmaster@ linkmarket.net, and bounced immediately. I have a problem with those who use software to hide from any meaningful communication. Network Solutions comes to mind. If you use php email, you had better think about all those who you cavalierly dismiss, and send on their way. Now, I don't care if the GD links are made out of gold. Rule #1: "Don't pith off your potential customer ON PURPOSE, up front, forthwith - for ANY reason." <rant>For the life of me, these days, I simply cannot understand why so many large (and aspiring) enterprises are so quick to divert customers, just to save manhour count, even though it's much to the detriment of service. Mechanize everything. Remove the people. No man hours. Great! "You will use OUR EMAIL, NOT YOURS". Great! And we are all stuck in an infinite loop of absurd email hell, with no resolution in sight. Endless canned responses. Computer generated. Blocked addresses. Unconfigured addresses. I can't heeeeeeeeear you! In other words, "Please go away. We don't have time for you."</rant> And another thing ...
You know what, those that said spam is no big deal, just delete, didn't think about the popular website owner. Its basically a catch-22, list your email on your site, get thousands of spam messages daily. Put up a form only method, your customers may have problems contacting you. My current solution is a PHP form + live chat like LinkMarket has. However, my live chat is online way more than offline.
Linkmarket.net is one of the best services on the net for trading links. I have used it for a long time, first as a freebie member and then as a paid member, and have found lots of good, solid links from them. So far, I have yet to find another link exchange program that comes close to the usability of Linkmarket.net. They're not big on answering emails but they are quick at fixing the rare problems you email them about.
linkexchanged is very very confusing to me. Says it uploads pages automatically, I'm assuming you must use their software? What if you have your own? Too many questions and none of em in the FAQs. I will write them later I guess.
Initial linkmarket trial = bad Just tried it out. I'm receiving dozens of irrelevant link exchange requests each day. Fully 9 out of 10 are spam... viagra sites and the like. Also, as a non-paying member I found no way to turn off the automated 'you have a new link request' emails so I just created rule that dumps them in the trash unseen. I sent a note to linkmarket asking them to cancel my account. Maybe if you pay you get something worthwhile, but I tend to buy based on positive trials and this was not. My recommendation to link market would be to allow filtering and turning off of emails for the basic account (and do some global internal request spam filtering like limiting how many/fast these spammers can send out requests) but only allow for X number of trades as a basic member, then you must upgrade. Full features, but limited upside. If I like it enough to get X good links, maybe I'll pay a bit to get N links.
ive used linkmart for several months have had over 360 links exchanged.. who know if my links are still up but i get a ton of link reguests.. and im using it for free and thanks for linkmetro ill give em a try also i paid for linkexchanged and used them.. not worth it .. i cancelled after a few months. kept my free account.. and no new links reguests..
I've been a member for a couple months and have only seen positive results. I think the key with linkmarket is to make sure you are sharing with relevant, similar sites.
I prefer linkmetro.com. Linkmarket.net is just too much junk sites and we can't even filter that sites.
