Hi all, Just wondered if anyone is involved in or think a pyramid scheme would be benifical...for instance. If you had 20 people interested number 1-20: 1 would link to 2-20 2 would link to 1 and 3-20 and so on, as it's not reciprocal, it will be viewed as a quality backlink? I run a blog so i'd be interested with others having a similar page rank, and similar topic. Obviously if your selling links then you don't want to do to many 'freebies', but it is a good way to get some backlinks?
You'd have to govern the relevance of the sites in the pyramid and you'd need a method of checking on links being maintained.
A link checker is easy enough to come by, but the time and effort spent doing it could be a pain. You could also consider having multiple pyramids from each site, making the links to the lower PR sites fewer, but helping them along with a bit of love.
