I've created a series of landing page variations to test with our competitors AdWords bidding. We have: /competitor (original page) /competitor2 /competitor3 /competitor4 and so on. We have set up the A/B testing perfectly and Google Verified it. However, we thought A/B testing could be specifically linked to an AdWords AdGroup so we could best optimize our campaigns. Our Ad Groups are set up to work as follows: - Competitor Campaign - url links to "/competitor" page OUR QUESTION: Will the A/B testing recognize this link as the "original page"? Will the ads then randomly display pages we created from the A/B Optimization? To clarify, when the user clicks our ads, will Google recognize that link as the "original" page and then automatically and randomly display the "variation" pages of /competitor2 or /competitor3 or /competitor4? Does this automatically happen when someone clicks our AdWords links?
